The Journey to come!

We are so glad to have so many people wanting to share in our journey. It is amazing how we can create a gathering place and maintain real connections in essential an illusory place, after all the Hill's blog spot doesn't really exist in one place but is in the place where you are reading it now while being in the place we are posting from and yet in neither place either. However here we are using this imaginary place to keep in touch with very real relationships that are very much rooted to a place and time. Oh well that's enough philosophical mumbo jumbo for now.
I couldn't resist going there given that blogs are supposed to be like diaries where we say deep and meaningful things for others to sit back and wonder at the importance of what we say, or at least that's what I find on a lot of the blogs I read. So for future posts we can't promise to stay entirely away from self important jargon rich philosophically rambling (after all I have to proove my time at Regent went to good use) but we do promise that this will be a very "real place" for us and our friends and family to keep in touch and share life as we are separated for this season of our life journeys. Feel free to use this as a forum to communicate with one another as much as with us.
Blessings and Prayer for us as we prepare to leave for our first stop, Switzerland!

Hi Kids
Looks like a beautiful spot...we hope to visit you this fall if all goes well. Well it's still raining here but hope this will be the last of it and we can get on to summer. Looks like the weather is good in Budapest 82 degrees. Have fun and we are looking forward to hearing more about your adventures.
Love Mom & Dad

Hmmm....not sure if this is my first or second post, my first one didn't seem to go anywhere! I'm very impressed that you guys have set up this great blog with pictures, itineraries, etc (and I am struggling figuring out how to add a comment!) - can't wait to see the rest of your trip! Hope everything continues to go well for you guys!

Hey Kev and Cheryl, I got that email linking to your blog. That was nice to see. I was wondering how it was all going. May the Lord keep you safe as you travel and may He use as His hands and feet to those you encounter.

Take care and I will check the blog again soon.
